What is Pull Out Art Storage Racking?
Pull out art storage racking consists of a system of mesh panels hung from a rails which allow for the safe storage, deposit and retrieval of hung artworks. These systems are used extensively within Art Galleries and Museums, for framed artworks but also for the safe storage of a variety other items. Pull out mesh racks keep items separated, provide space for airflow and provide easy access.

At Rackline we have been working with Museums and Galleries since 1984. Over this time we’ve learned a thing or two about art storage and preservation.
Our Artwork Racking systems are designed and manufactured on a case by case basis, to suit the individual needs of the client. Each solution is developed to encompass the unique space and the items that need to be stored.
Though the mesh panels are standard, they are complemented by strong hooks and hangers to suit each individual requirement. These are designed to hold items securely and ensure that valuable inventory is kept safe.
Strong Mesh Panels
We have no standard sizes for our pull-out picture racking or mesh frames, these are manufactured to fit your needs. We do provide options for double or single sided mesh and a choice of mesh sizes. Our standard mesh gauge is 3mm or we can provide, heavy duty mesh at 4mm gauge for heavier items.
Adaptable to your needs
Obviously our art storage systems are ideal for storing paintings, but they can also be used for rolled materials, and with the manufacture of specific bracketry adapted to suit the needs of whatever is in your collection. Below are just a few examples, talk to use about your needs.
