Rackline’s Range of Plan Chests

Rackline’s high quality, robust heavy duty steel drawer units offer a simple storage solution for large drawings, plans, maps and artwork along with sensitive archive based originals commonly found in museums or libraries.

The Rackline range is designed and in use across a range of Museums, Archives and Drawing Offices. Each contemporary steel chest is designed to the individual needs of the client, with sizes including A0 (1350x950x1205mm), A1 (1000x650x1205mm) and KK (Oversized 2150x1330x1205mm).

Rackline’s plan chests are designed to your individual needs with drawer heights from 65 to 200mm. Drawers can be specified with or without locks. Drawers can be specified with indexing tabs for the fast identification of contents.

Our heavy duty chests are affordable solutions to prevent documents from becoming damaged, and are designed to protect these across a range of environments. In use in such places as the Victoria and Albert Museum
